What is your turn around time?

The current turn around time is approximately 1-2 weeks plus shipping time. Each piece is dyed by hand, I dye in small batches to keep the colour as consistent as possible. If you are under a specific deadline like for a gift please reach out to me prior to ordering to see if I can accommodate your order on the timeline you need.

 

How close of a colour match can you get if I re-order more of the same colour?

I closely follow my own dye recipes and instructions to achieve the same colour outcome consistently. Unfortunately dye is very fickle, there may be some colour variance from batch to batch. Our suggestion is if you want to match with your little one, order your pieces at the same time to ensure that they are dyed together for a likelier colour match. 

 

Consistency

Each piece is unique, the photos are a depiction of the general style and colour but your piece is uniquely made for you. Sometimes the dye can leave darker speckles or spots, this is normal and part of the way the dye distributes. 

 

What kind of material are the shirts and sweaters?

I try my best to use high percentage cotton garments, all of our t-shirts and onesies are 100% cotton, crewnecks are a cotton/synthetic blend.

 

What are the wash instructions?

For best results cold wash separately with a mild colour safe detergent like woolite, do not use fabric softener, do not bleach. Tumble dry on a lower heat setting. All garments are pre-shrunk. There may be some bleeding of the dye during the wash process.

 

Do you wash the clothing in detergent with fragrance?

I specifically do not use detergent or fabric softener during the dying process. They are washed in plain cold water with a splash of white vinegar which acts as a natural fabric softener.
